DAY ONE BRUNCH MEETING
[Hey there, island residents! At some point after the challenge, you have probably been approached by one of four lovely(?) people and informed of a meeting happening at mid-morning in the Chef's Shack. Brunch will be provided, and please bring your notebooks and a pen. If you happen to show up early, you might see at least one helper, maybe more, setting up tables by pushing most of them together, but leaving some pushed against the wall for food.
BLURB HERE ABOUT FOOD SETUP GOES HERE
Once everyone has arrived and has their food and is settled, Brain will clear his throat loudly for attention and start the meeting]
Good morning, everyone. I'm certain there are a number of things that we are all already aware of. Nevertheless, a brief summary: We are all trapped here in a game similar to one we are familiar for the entertainment of some mysterious audience and will be asked to commit murder for some sort of gain.
To that end, myself, Mr. Ashengrotto, Mr. Aziraphael and Mr. Stantz have asked you here to create a measure of organization so that perhaps, in sharing information and working together, we may survive with as many of us intact as possible.
To begin, here is the agenda for the meeting:
First, basic introductions. Then Mr. Stantz would like to discuss crafting a set of ground rules. Third, we have an interest in gathering data on contestants and past experiences. Next, I'll address a need to investigate this island and the buildings included. After that, Mr. Ashengrotto would like to talk about creating a daily check-in. Additionally, he would also like to discuss a cooking schedule. And finally, Aziraphael would like to suggest an alternate form of communication.
I ask that you please pay close attention and participate in this meeting as best you can.

Intro

For example: I am Brain, and would like to be called as such. I am skilled at planning and organization, and will use these skills to create some organization out of this chaos they have thrown us into.
Data Gathering
no subject
To this end, we have created a simple survey of questions to fill out, and you'll find copies on the table in front of you. You can either choose to fill it out in your notepad and give us the paper, or you may talk about it openly here. The choice is up to you.
SURVEY
Name of the place you originally come from:
Location of previous game(s), please provide as accurate a description as possible:
Who was running the game:
Why was the game run (i.e. - to revive a mother's children from an alternate universe and needed the blood):
Is there anyone here from the same game as you and who:
Motives used:
Number of (successful) murders due to motives:
Details of said murders (number of people, what happened in brief):
Number of (successful) murders due to accidents:
Details of said murders (number of people, what happened in brief):
Number of trials where murderers were successfully convicted:
Number of trials where murderers weren't successfully convicted:
If any trials where murderers weren't successfully convicted, why not:
Number of trials where murderers were successfully convicted but not successfully executed:
If trials where murderer was convicted but not executed, why not:
How did your game end and did you escape:
If you escaped, how did you escape:
((ooc: Please place discussion about the surveys as a reply in the toplevel above this. Please reply here only with your survey answers! Regarding filling out this form, you don't have to necessarily go into the detail your character would, unless you want to (listen, we love Info here, go nuts.) You can instead give a brief overview of what they would say, if that would be easier. Whatever's best for you!))
Investigation
no subject
There is a list of areas to investigate on the table in front of you. For most areas, one or two people will be enough. However, the forest would certainly be better served with two, if not three investigators.
Group <s>Breakfast</s> Check-in
GROUND RULES
no subject
-Morning check ins are mandatory. Those who fail to show will be brought here whether they want it or not
-No murdering children. This is non-negotiable
-Quiet hours from 10-8. It's important for us to get plenty of sleep and keep each other from getting on our nerves. Plus if anything does go awry at night it'll be easier for us all to hear
-Do your best not to keep any secrets. While some may be absolutely necessary, keeping secretes from each other just breeds distrust.
-Try to get along! Disagreements are bound to happen but if it gets heated please try to find a mediator or stepping away for a few moments
-Remember that we're all in this together. This situation is terrible but we all have the same goal: to get out of here. I'm sure the last thing Chris wants is for us to work together!
Alternate Communication/ Cipher

[He spares a glance to the camera watching them at this exact moment.]
Now, I did spend some time doing spy work for what I thought was British special forces back in the second world war, and during that time I learned a fairly easy cipher that I think we can use.
It would behoove everyone to learn it, of course, and perhaps even to each choose our own book to use, but that might be better suited to a separate meeting. Or even smaller groups. What do you think?
GROUP COOKING
no subject
[ Two birds, one stone. ]
I'd also like to request people write down their name on this paper and any allergies you might have. This is just to prevent making any food that could cause reactions to anyone else. I doubt our host is so willing to give out epipens, and that would be a terrible way to murder anyone in general.
COOKING TEAM INTEREST
Would you like to join the Cooking Brigade (name pending)?
Ideal Shift(s): (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
